Norton Community Preschool

At Norton Community Pre-School our aim is to nurture, develop and educate our children through play and with an understanding that is clear to them. Through working in the community, we offer a safe, secure, happy and stimulating environment for all children and their families. 

We have a very enriching outdoor facility where children are encouraged to explore their environment. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum based on the Early Years Foundation Stage with the emphasis on learning through play, learning in the moment and being child led. We provide a ratio of 1:4 for two year old's and 1:8 for 3-4 year old's. Every child is given the opportunity and encouraged to reach their full potential.

We operate from a wheelchair friendly building that has disabled access, with a ramp and disabled toilets.

​

We are an inclusive Pre-School, who accept two to four year olds. We offer free funded places and 30 additonal hours.

​

We have a SENDCO in place with a SENDCO award level 3 in place.

​

We are OFSTED registered for 30 children. 

​

Our openings times are

Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 9am - 3.10pm

Wednesdays 9am - 12pm

Term time only.

Fees and Chargeable Items

​

We offer a variety of different funding status, make sure you are on the correct one or you will be liable to pay back the hours you have received.

​

We require a minimum of 2 sessions (6 hours)

​

Session fees (3 hours) £18

​

As we are a registered chairity, we ask for voluntary contributions. If you would like to opt out of any of our services, please let us know in advance. You will be charged each month via tapestry. 

​

Lunch (you provide a packed lunch) £2.50 to cover staff costs

​

Late collection fees £5 (per 5 minutes. This will be added to your next invoice)
